The Framework

The Physical Intelligence Framework

A proprietary framework for developing the human capacities that shape behavior, wellbeing, leadership, recovery, connection, vitality, and thriving.

Primary Entry Point

Discover your Capacity Profile

Every person has a unique capacity pattern. The Physical Intelligence Assessment™ reveals that pattern across seven foundational capacities — identifying current strengths, recurring blind spots, and developmental opportunities.

Your Capacity Profile™ becomes the map that guides your next step within the Physical Intelligence Pathway™. The Assessment is the primary entry point into the framework.

Why Physical Intelligence?

Capacity is deeper than behavior.

Most human development approaches focus on changing behavior. Physical Intelligence focuses on developing the capacities that shape behavior.

Behavior is downstream of state, perception, regulation, recovery, and relational capacity. Lasting change begins when the human system has more capacity available under pressure, in relationship, during recovery, and across daily life.

For leaders and teams, the framework can reveal pressure patterns, communication habits, recovery capacity, and developmental priorities that shape presence, decision quality, and team coherence.

◉  Beyond Mindset

The body is not separate from transformation. It is where transformation becomes real.

Mindset can point the way, but under pressure the body often determines what is available before the conscious mind has time to make a plan. The Physical Intelligence Framework™ develops the capacities that make new behavior possible.

◉  Pattern Awareness

The capacity that makes change possible.

Awareness helps us notice what is happening. Pattern Awareness helps us recognize what keeps happening.

Most change does not fail because people lack insight. It fails because insight often remains above the level of the pattern. Under pressure, the body returns to familiar states, protective reflexes, relational habits, and old meanings before a person can consciously choose a different response.

When patterns become visible, Self-Regulation and Discernment can convert awareness into practice. With repetition, the work can move from temporary behavior change toward Altered Traits: more stable embodied capacities for presence, recovery, connection, vitality, and thriving.

01

Center

The capacity to return to steadiness, orientation, and embodied presence.

02

Awareness

The capacity to notice physical signals, emotional cues, attention shifts, and energy changes.

03

Pattern Awareness

The capacity to recognize repeated physiological, behavioral, and relational patterns as they arise.

04

Self-Regulation

The capacity to influence state through breath, movement, attention, rhythm, and recovery.

05

Discernment

The capacity to distinguish old protection from present choice and embodied wisdom.

06

Connection

The capacity to remain available to self, others, purpose, place, and relational reality.

07

Vitality

The capacity to restore energy, sustain aliveness, protect cognition, and participate in flourishing.

Capacity Profile™

A personalized map of current capacity.

The Physical Intelligence Assessment™ translates the Physical Intelligence Capacity Model™ into your Capacity Profile™: a developmental view of which capacities are accessible, which patterns are repeating, and where practice may begin.

A Capacity Profile™ is not a fixed score or identity label. It is a map for capacity development.

The Pathway

From awareness to Altered Traits and thriving.

The Physical Intelligence Pathway™ shows how embodied change unfolds. Awareness reveals what is present. Pattern Awareness makes repetition visible. Discernment creates choice. Self-Regulation builds usable capacity. Altered Traits mark deeper changes in the system. Thriving becomes possible when these capacities are practiced, integrated, and lived.

◉  Altered Traits

Lasting change is practiced into the system.

Insight can be temporary. Repeated practice builds capacity. Altered Traits are stable embodied capacities that become more available under pressure, in relationship, during recovery, and in daily life.
